So Much to Love in Lafayette, CO
We’re fortunate to live near such a beautiful area that we spend much of our time outdoors. In Lafayette, the Great Bark Dog Park is a spectacular spot to let your furry friends run off-leash. The park features log structures for jumping and climbing, covered bench areas, and a ⅓ mile looping trail. For the two-legged, Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat is a fantastic example of the tenacity of nature. The former mining area was reduced to puddles of water and bedrock when the community reclaimed it in 1974. Today, the area boasts a large variety of wildlife and some of the best birdwatching in the county. The WOW! Children’s Museum is an excellent place to spend the day with children ages 12 and younger. Let your kids learn as they play in various exhibits, including a pirate ship, a shopping market, and an area for dancing.

LOVE our new top down, bottom up Hunter Douglas Duette Honeycomb shades! Just went up today and what a difference they make! Both the windows themselves plus overall look of the rooms. I can have the top down and see the beautiful sky and clouds, while having the bottom up for privacy. Howard was great to work with and John the installer really knows what he's doing and did an excellent job installing today. Family owned business which I much prefer over chains. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.
We recently did a complete home remodel and installed 15 new blinds (Douglas Hunter cellular shades). Several are massive blinds, some battery operated and one was extremely complicated and an odd shape. I interviewed three different highly recommended blind companies and Howard was by far the best. His knowledge, recommendation and price point were by far the best as well. John, the installer, is extremely efficient and knows exactly what he is doing. They are a superb team. I HIGHLY recommend Howard's Draperies, no question! Thank you Howard and John.
We recently bought a new home with large/custom windows. Our builder recommended Howard’s Draperies so we gave him a call. Howard is a true pro and helped us first time home owners navigate what is, surprisingly, a dizzying array of choices (blackout drapes, different colors, mounting location of the hardware, etc.). Howard actually came out to measure our windows the day before he went on vacation; despite this, we received amazing blinds in a timely fashion. His installer, John, also clearly has a lot of experience and gets things up quickly and looking great. Howard and John are a great team and we were very pleased with the entire process and highly recommend Howard’s Draperies.
